Fundraising Info August 27, 2008 Dear Fundraisers Customers, It is already time to start working on your fall fundraising project. We had a great response to our 2 new items last year. The dark chocolate pecan halves are delicious. Pecan meal is great for cakes and cookies and it also makes a delicious crust on chicken or fish. Our gift items continue to be a good source of revenue for many of our groups. The gift items are pictured on the back of our newly revised order sheet. You will note these items are sold individually and not in cases as with the bagged nuts. The gift items are available with no additional freight charges, IF purchased with cases of bagged nuts. If gift items are bought individually, you must call for additional freight charges. The suggested selling prices have been added on the order sheets for your convenience. Please remember this is just a suggested price, you may sell the items for any amount you desire. The purchase prices are on the price lists as usual. (This is the price you pay us.) If you need more order sheets with or without prices, please call me. For those interested in the SAMPLER case of bagged nuts, which enables you to try the many flavors of nuts, this case contains one pound each of the nuts listed with an “*” beside them. Although the pecan crop is smaller this year, the crop in Georgia looks very good. You will notice that we have raised some of the prices. Some of this is due to the smaller crop, but most of the increase is due to the higher cost of fuel and packaging. We have done our best to keep the prices as low as possible. All new crop nuts should be available by the end of October. If your sales require earlier shipment, we always have fresh refrigerated nuts available for immediate shipment. Just remember, NO chocolate items can be shipped until cooler weather, usually the first of November. We hope you have a successful fund raising program.
